The website to reduce the damage caused by the Kaduwela river water disaster
Kaduwela Divisional Secretariat consists of 57 village officer domains. Out of those 57 village officials, 24 domains are threatened by floods. Among them, there is a severe threat of river water in Ranala, Navagamuwa, Ihala Bomiriya, Wakewatta, Pahala Bomiriya, Welihinda, Tunadahena, Kaduwela, Welivita Village Niladhari Domain.
Every year, there is a threat of floods twice a year, and the last time the floods occurred, the people were affected as follows.
Kaduwela Divisional Secretariat claims the highest number of private universities. Because of this, it is an area that is constantly being overpopulated through migration. Every year the people are affected by the threat of floods and they are also affected by the floods due to buying land and building houses without understanding the flood prone areas. Because of this, every year a new population and especially children are threatened by floods.
Therefore, I intend to design a website that can be used to reduce the damage caused to the population affected by the threat of floods and especially to children.
